About

Dr Morty CK

Welcome. I am Morty CK. In my 20s, I moved to Europe to do a PhD in Economics. When  living and studying in Europe, I became fascinated by people’s psychology and the often irrational reasons  behind their choices in life and work.  This drew me to the field of psychology and how people’s thoughts affect their feelings and actions.

Living in a foreign country, using a new language and studying a new field (behavioural economics) was extremely challenging, which caused me a lot of stress and anxiety. I learnt and applied a number of psychological tools such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Neurolinguistic programming to change my thoughts and behaviour and control my feelings. I removed many of my limiting beliefs, managed my stress and succeeded at my study and work.

I have helped others  to achieve their true potential, working  with people who were suffering from various problems and helping them to create positive changes in their lives.

I enjoyed learning about mindfulness and spirituality though Rumi, Wayn Dyer, Ekhart Tolle, and Joe Dispensa.

I have written two books on finding love and relationships, studied hypnotherapy, gained Counselling Certification  through   the Australian Institute of Professional counselling (AIPC) and have achieved  advanced majors in the following fields with the AIPC:

  • Family Therapy,
  • Relationship Counselling and Conflict Resolution, and
  • Expressive therapy.
